Buffalo Exchange in Portland

Another Portland consignment shopping favorite, Buffalo Exchange! Buffalo Exchange started in 1974 in Tuscon, Arizona, as a way to create a fashionable clothing “Exchange”. In the past 45 years, Buffalo Exchange has grown into 19 stores throughout 50 states. Buffalo aims to be a beneficial place for its customers to buy, sell, and trade new and recycled clothing, be a rewarding workplace and act in a socially responsible manner. In Portland, there is a Buffalo Exchange in Downtown, and in the Hawthorne neighborhood.

Buffalo Exchange, like Crossroads, is a place for customers to both buy and sell. Come in with your clothes at any time Buffalo is open, no appointment necessary. Make sure you have your ID, or if you are under 18, have an adult with you. Once they go through your clothes, you will get 30% of their selling price in cash, or 50% in-store credit. The great part about receiving in-store credit is you can replace the clothes you are selling right then and there! Can’t find anything? Don’t worry! You can receive the in-store credit on a gift card to use at a different time.
