Galentines in Portland
Everyone talks about Valentine’s Day, but let’s not forget Galentine’s Day! Galentine’s takes place every February 13th and is a day for ladies to celebrate the other ladies in their lives! We have put together a list of things to do with your girlfriends around Portland to celebrate Galentine’s Day.
Floradee Candle Co. Galentine’s Event
We love Danielle’s DIY candle pouring events, and this one is a step above the rest and the perfect post-Galentine’s Day celebration. In this workshop, guests will learn about candle making and blend their own custom candle, get a curated nail design by artist Nomi Terbish from Nomsternailz, create a flower arrangement with Alyssa Lytle from Color Theory Design, and sip on wine poured by Kelly from Lev Livet. All is included with the ticket along with light bites! This event is February 16 at Color Theory Design Co. Studio from 12:00PM-2:30PM.

Galentine’s Day Round-Robin Block Party
Four women-owned businesses are coming together in Oregon City to host a Round-Robin Block Party on February 13th, Galentine’s day. Grab a punchcard from White Rabbit, the Oregon City Gift Shop, then choose between sipping on cider, beer, or wine. Next head to dessert at The Vintage Nest, munch on appetizers at Mary Rose NW Boutique, get a henna tattoo at Angel Ink Tattoo, create a vision board collage at White Rabbit or a felted heart at Mary Rose! All businesses are neighbors in Oregon City, so it is easy to stroll the block, chat with your girlfriends, and support women-owned businesses!

Galentine’s Day Favorite Things Party
Head to Consign Couture in Lake Oswego for a fun Galentine’s Day celebration. Each attendee brings one item $20 or less that they love. It could be beauty related, a fashion accessory, a household item, or just anything that is a favorite! Each guest will fill out a card when they arrive with their name, email, what they brought, why they love it, and where they buy it. The cards will be placed in front of each item. When guests are ready to go they will choose someone else's favorite thing to take home, and within the next week, a list of all the favorite things will be emailed. They will have wine, sparkling water, and light bites. This is a great event to attend with friends or a way to meet new ones! The event will take place on February 13 at 5:30 PM.

University Club of Portland Galentines Day Brunch
Another post-Galentine’s celebration, this brunch will take place on Saturday, February 15th. All ladies are invited to join for a mid-morning networking event at the University Club of Portland. There will be a brunch buffet, bellini bar, photo booth, raffle prizes, and more! Grab a few of your gal pals and get your brunch on, or go alone and meet some new friends!
