One of the best parts of the Pacific Northwest at Christmas time is heading to one of the many Christmas tree farms to pick out the perfect Christmas tree! We are lucky to live in a place where cutting down your own tree is an option. So put on your boots and coats and head to one of these farms to find the perfect tree.
Quail Creek Ranch Christmas Trees
This farm is located on the south side of Skyline Ridge off Cornelius Pass Road. They want to be a farm for anyone to find the perfect tree. With their weed-free fields, beautiful setting, and free cocoa and cider, Quail Creek is the perfect Christmas tree hunting location. They have over 20 acres of trees that range in size along with wreaths, garland, mistletoe and tree stand for sale. They also provide free loading assistance, tree cutting, and restrooms! This is a great place for families with kids to find their tree.

Zurbrugg Farms
Located off Germantown road, Zurbrugg is a large tree farm with an endless amount of a variety of Christmas trees in multiple types and sizes! This farm doesn’t have an elaborate setup, but it has a charming family-owned feel. They provide saws and reasonable prices! The farm can get muddy, so boots are definitely recommended, but this makes for a true PNW tree-hunting experience! Though they don’t have a gift shop, Zurbrugg sells honey, wreaths, and Mistletoe in their small stand in front of the farm. If you want more of a farm feel, Zurbrugg is the place for you!
Sauvie Island Farms
Most people know Sauvie Island for their pumpkin patches and u-pick berries, but Sauvie Island is also an excellent place to hunt for the perfect Christmas tree! Sauvie Island Farms, owned and operated by David and Vicki Egger, is a third-generation farm that started with u-pick strawberries. Throughout the year, Sauvie Island Farms grows a variety of items from peaches and sweet corn to flowers and pumpkins. In December they open for Christmas trees. They have U-Cut Nobles, Grands, and Douglas Firs along with wreaths, garland, hot drinks, and cookies. With the surrounding greenery and open skies, Sauvie Island Farm is a beautiful place to pick the perfect tree!

Furrow Farm
Located on NW West Union Road in Hillsboro, Furrow Farm says they have real trees for real people. They are a third-generation farm that grows and harvests Christmas trees and hazelnuts and is home to beef cattle and horses. They are constantly fertilizing, planting and trimming year-round for Christmas tree season to grow the perfect trees! It is a true farm experience and a place to bring home a high-quality Christmas tree. Their Christmas trees were even featured in Christmas episodes of NBC’s Grimm, Better Homes and Gardens, and Fred Meyer ads. They have a variety of trees, supply saws and twine, and assistance! Enjoy free hot cocoa, candy canes, and a warm fire at Furrow Farms.
