Olympia Provisions Fondue for 2

Cheese, bubbles, and chocolate just seem to go with Valentine’s. Olympia Provisions is providing you with the perfect opportunity to combine all three on February 14th with their Fondue for 2 Dinner! The Olympia Provisions Public House will host an evening of enjoying an elaborate multi-course fondue dinner complete with three traditional Swiss salads, fondue, Swiss dipping chocolate, and a bottle of pink bubbles for the night! The Olympia Provisions co-founder Elias Cairo spent five years learning the art of food in Switzerland before his return to Portland, and their chef has mastered the traditional Neuchatel Swiss recipe. This is sure to be a magical night for any couple. Tickets are $110 and include the complete dinner and gratuity for 2.

Helvetia Winery St. Valentine’s Day Dinner

Nothing says Valentine’s Day like wine. Celebrate love and good wine with the annual St. Valentines five-course wine and food pairing prepared by Chef Dave. The event has been taking place for over a decade and has become so popular, there are now two nights of feasting! The food includes smoked clam chowder, a garden fresh salad, stuffed pork loin with fingerling potatoes and fresh grilled veggies, and a gluten-free chocolate ganache tart. Wines from the Jakob Yungen House will be paired with the courses. The dinner will be at Helvetia Vineyards and Winery, a wine country experience only 25 minutes from downtown Portland.

Valentine’s Market at Oaks Park

You don’t have to spend a lot to have a memorable, event-filled Valentine’s Day! Bring the entire family to the dance pavilion of Oaks Amusement Park for this artisan-focused retail experience. General admission is free, or if you want an elevated experience, guests 21 and over can get a VIP wristband for $20. The wristband includes a beverage, oysters, appetizers, and a swag bag. Walk around and support local makers while you shop for unique gifts and meet people in the community. This event is perfect for those who want a more low-key Valentine’s Day experience, or want to celebrate the day with the whole family.

Buttercraft: Make a Date with Wine and Cake

Join Sellwood specialty food and wine shop Buttercraft for a romantic evening of wine and cake! Attendees will get to enjoy three wine tastings and a slice of cake. This event is only $10 and will take place at Buttercraft from 5 PM-7 PM on February 14. The perfect casual Valentine’s date night or a fun activity before your dinner plans.
